This is a place for our students to share their experience of living in California and studying at the A F International College in downtown Los Angeles; this blog is also a place for our teachers to share their thoughts and insights with their students and with you.
We hope that you will enjoy this place and we encourage you to be part of it. . . whether we are on the same page or not. Please feel free to comment as often as you like.
A small group of students discovered or rediscovered one of the most emblematic cities in southwest America, Las Vegas! Staying at the Riviera hotel they visited the famous Bellagio, The Mirage and all the incredible hotels of the Strip. After 3 days and a hundred miles of walking, they finally came back to LA to share this experience with all the students.
All the students enjoyed this cult film of 1988 and its story, both fun and meaningful for exchange students. Can you imagine what is would be like to live in a completely different life?
To thank our teachers for their dedication and care, we prepared a lunch for them, last Wednesday. All the students present sang "Imagine" by John Lennon as a symbol of the amazing collaboration of our friends from all around the world.
Enjoying the potluck are Mohit from India, SIna Lo from Korea, Marady from Cambodia, teacher Barbara, Andrea de Souza from Brazil and Roberto Bautista from Spain.
